Refugee Resettlement Program

As an affiliate of the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC) based in Arlington, VA - one of ten national voluntary agencies (VOLAGS) authorized by the Department of State to resettle refugees - ACRC assists refugees by providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services for an initial period of 90 days. Such services include assistance with getting initial housing, furnishings, clothing, food, English language training, cultural orientation, health assessment, and referrals to various service providers as refugees move toward achieving the goal of self-sufficiency.
